The Prospectus is a joint approach to investing, and offers commissioning grants to organisations who provide services and strengthen local communities. It is run by East Sussex County Council (ESCC) together with other public sector commissioners , i.e. NHS. SpeakUp Forum worked with ESCC over the last years to develop this new model. Voluntary and Community sector organisations, service users and carers were all involved.

In 2014, in its fourth year, the County Council and local NHS awarded over £10 million through 62 grants to 39 organisations to improve the health, social care and wellbeing of local children, families and adults over the next three years. As in previous years, local clients and carers played a key role in evaluating bids. To see what services have been funded click here.
