The Big Event is the largest annual voluntary sector conference in East Sussex. SpeakUp Forum has been organising the Big Event since 2009. The Big Event is an opportunity for the Voluntary and Community Sector to come together and explore relevant developments and changes that affect us as a sector. The Big Event always includes an advice fair, conference presentations, and breakaway workshops or masterclasses.
Since its first appearance in 2009, the annual Big Event has grown in size, popularity, and scope and now attracts 150-200 participants from the voluntary and community sector and our partners in the public and private sectors.
